Many of you have been here from the early days, through ThreeFold’s mission to build a decentralized internet to the transition to Project Mycelium. You know what we’re building and why it matters.
We’re now moving to a new chapter: Project Mycelium will be run as a cooperative. It will operate the public marketplace, govern the commons and collectively shape the direction of the project.
We’re looking for founding members.
What does being a member mean?
You contribute your skills and time to help Project Mycelium grow. In return, you receive token compensation for your contributions. The exact allocation per role is being worked out and will be shared transparently before anyone commits.
There’s no predefined list of roles we’re hiring for. We want to hear from you first: what you’re good at, what you care about, and how you think you could contribute. That said, we’re especially looking for people with a background in marketing, communications or community-building, as that’s where we have the most gaps right now.
Who should apply?
Anyone in our community who:
- Believes in what Project Mycelium is building
- Has skills and/or energy to contribute
- Can commit a few hours a week on an ongoing basis
