We are now ready to invite a limited group from our community to test an early release of Grid 3.0. If you are interested in joining this effort, please see the questions below and provide your answers in a reply to this post. Additional testers will be invaluable to preparing all of the technology for wider release, so thank you for being here
As a tester, you’ll be free to try any kind of deployments you want, although we’ll ask that you limit your capacity consumption to a level that gives everyone room to play. We’ll also provide directions on some standard tests for everyone to run, so that there’s full coverage of the available functionalities.
Our plan is to open access for the first testers as soon as possible, we’re just working through some details of the program. Any updates will be communicated on this thread, if you’d like to follow it. And we’ll be contacting individuals via a private message on this forum with instructions to get started, as soon as everything is ready.
Get started
To be considered for the testing program, please provide your answers to the following questions:
- Who are you, and what is your involvement in the ThreeFold community?
- If you have an application you’d like to try deploying, what is it and how much capacity does it require? If not, why are you excited to come and test Grid 3.0?
- Are you already in the loop about new features in Grid 3.0? Do you have any questions about what needs to be tested?
Also, if you haven’t already, please join our ThreeFold Grid Tester Community on Telegram.
