How to buy TFT on Lobstr Wallet and Transfer it to TF Connect Wallet?

To buy TFT on Lobstr Wallet, follow these simple steps as mentioned below:

Step 1: Create a Lobstr Wallet

  1. Download the Lobstr app from the Appstore or Google Play.

  2. Open the app and click on “Create Account”.

  3. Enter your email address and hit “Continue”. Now, set a “Password” for your account and confirm your email address by clicking the link in the email received in your inbox.

  4. After verifying the email address, switch to Lobstr mobile app and click on “Done”. Your Lobstr wallet is now created.

Step 2: Connect a Stellar Wallet on your Lobstr Wallet:

  1. Go to the Lobstr app and select the option “Connect Stellar Wallet” and select “I have a public or secret key”.

  2. Go to ThreeFold Connect app and select the wallet menu. Under the wallet section, click on (i) to see your wallet details. Copy your “Stellar Wallet address” and “Stellar Secret” and save it on a notepad.

  3. Now, go back to the Lobstr app and paste the Stellar Wallet Address and Stellar Secret and press “Connect Wallet”

  4. You can now see your TFT assets on Lobstr wallet.

Step 3: Add TFT Asset:

  1. Go to the Assets section on the Lobstr app.

  2. If you already have some TFTs on your ThreeFold Connect wallet, you can see your existing TFT balances which means that the TFT asset is already enabled.

  3. If you do not have any TFT balance in your ThreeFold Connect wallet, click on “Add Asset” on your Lobstr app and Search for TFT.

  4. Now you will see two options: ThreeFold Token TFT (threefold.io) and ThreeFold Token TFTA (threefold.io). Choose the “ThreeFold Token TFT (threefold.io)”.

Step 4: Buy XLM or USDC first to get TFT:

  1. You can use your Credit card/Debit card to buy XLMs or USDCs by selecting “ Buy Crypto ‘’ on the Lobstr app in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD and others.

  2. Enter the amount of XLMs or USDCs you want to purchase and click on “Continue” again click on “Continue with MoonPay”.

  3. Complete your KYC details and enter Debit/Credit card details to finish the purchase.

Step 5: Buy TFT:

You can use any of the two methods:

Method 1:

  1. Go to the “Swap” section. in the “You buy” section you can select TFT by clicking on the “up-down arrow” and search TFT.

  2. Now enter the amount of XLM you want to convert to TFT and click on “Swap XLM to TFT”.

  3. You will receive a confirmation when the SWAP is complete.

Method 2:

  1. Go to “Assets” and select “ThreeFold Token”

  2. Now select “Trade TFTs” and click on “Buy”. Enter the amount of TFT you wish to purchase and click on “Buy TFT”.

  3. You will receive a confirmation when the transaction is complete.

(Note- Lobstr will provide all its users with a 30 day loan of 1.5 XLM to activate the account. When you want to start using the Lobstr wallet you will need to fund it and pay back that loan. You can fund with a credit card or send digital currencies to the addresses of your lobstr wallet.)

Step 6: Transfer TFT From Lobstr Wallet to ThreeFold Connect app:

All the TFTs purchased on Lobstr will show within your Lobstr app by default. If you would like to send these TFTs to your ThreeFold Connect app, please follow these steps:

  1. Simply, click on “Send” on the Lobstr app and select “Stellar wallet”.

  2. Now, enter the Stellar address from the ThreeFold Connect app and click on “Continue”

  3. Go to TFT tab and select the amount you wish to send and click “Continue”

  4. You will receive a confirmation once the transaction is complete.
