Grid Stats - New Nodes & Utilization Overview

Lately I’ve been playing with some scripts to pull data about nodes on the Grid. This can help get a sense for how and where the Grid is growing. Here’s a look at the last week (well, technically 8 days: August 7-15). These are new “active” nodes, which are node ids that were created in that time period and were online sometime in the last day of the period. We don’t actually know if these are new physical hardware or maybe new node ids generated for existing nodes for some reason. In the future, checking node serial numbers might be a way to refine the results even more.

Hi Guys, I ordered a node in September 21 and have not received it? Can anyone point me in the right direction of who to talk to to find out whats going on?

Thank you

Hey @thecryptokitchen, the best thing to do is contact our support team using the blue chat icon in the bottom right of this page. They’ll be back at work on Monday. The issue is likely that we need additional information from you, so maybe double check your email and spam folders as well.

Hi Scott,

Thank you. I have contacted several times and they have confirmed they have my information. The last few weeks noone was replied. Hence the reason I am asking here publicly.

I’m following up on your order and we’ll get back to you through the support system.

maybe add an additional metric of the percentage increase or decrease since the last update or even a graph?

Absolutely, a graph is planned

How much is this from total capacity? It would be a nice stat to have

Sure, displaying percentages of total available capacity is a great idea. I’ll roll this into a future version of the scripts

Hi all, back again with weekly grid stats. Per @petar’s request, utilization numbers are now shown relative to the total capacity available on the grid and also in percent form. A quick note about these figures: I’ve removed the RAM and SSD reserved by Zos from the totals. So total capacity may look lower than shown elsewhere. My goal is to capture how much is reserved versus what’s totally available to reserve.
