June was a significant month. We have some real news to share and we want to make sure you get the full picture.
A New Chapter: Cloud Coop and the ICA
Project Mycelium is entering a new chapter as a founding member of Cloud Coop. Cloud Coop is an initiative our team is launching, endorsed by the International Cooperative Alliance, the global apex body for cooperatives worldwide, representing over one billion cooperative members across roughly three million cooperatives. For a project built on the idea of a co-owned, sovereign grid, standing alongside a movement of that scale is a real milestone.
At the end of June, the team presented Cloud Coop at the CM50 Leadership Summit in Brussels. The reception was genuinely exciting and confirmed that what we are building is aligned with where the cooperative movement is headed.
How It All Fits Together
Cloud Coop is built around two distinct cooperatives and we want to make sure the structure is clear.
- Cloud Coop is a cooperative, a federation of coops and organizations that provide capacity to a shared, cooperatively owned cloud. It is the umbrella: the governance and trust layer and the marketplace. It is where organizations, solution providers, and farming pools participate.
- Project Mycelium is a founding member of Cloud Coop, and importantly the only way for individuals to share capacity with the cooperative cloud. That puts our community right at the heart of Cloud Coop from day one.
The goal is straightforward: turn Project Mycelium into a true, member owned cooperative, owned and governed by the people who build and run the grid.
Get Involved
We are hosting our first call with everyone who applied to get involved in the cooperative next week. If you have not yet filled in the form, it is still open and we would love to hear from you.
TFT to SPORE: Deadline Extended to September 30
Following requests from the community, we are extending the preferential rate deadline by three months to September 30, 2026. We want everyone to have the time they need to make an informed decision, especially as more clarity comes around the cooperative structure and how everything fits together.
The preferential rate of 1 TFT = 10 SPORE remains available until that date. After September 30, the rate shifts to market prices. The Dutch auction for SPORE will also happen after September 30. Note that the marketplace can launch before the Dutch auction and before the preferential rate ends.
To convert, your TFT needs to be on TFChain first, wherever it currently sits, whether it is on Stellar, BNB Smart Chain, TF Connect, MetaMask, or elsewhere.
Hero OS: Almost There
Hero OS is getting very close to a V1 launch. The team is in the final stretch and we are planning a live demo for the community during the next community call. More details on timing will be shared on Telegram soon.

Project Mycelium Marketplace
The marketplace is close, and it remains a priority. The team is pushing hard to deliver it as fast as possible. A lot is moving around us right now between Hero OS and Cloud Coop. That being said, the marketplace is still central to everything we are building and we will share a dedicated update on timing soon.
Looking Ahead
A community call is being planned for this summer where we will demo Hero OS live and share the latest on Coop Cloud, Project Mycelium, and the marketplace. The Mycelium app is also getting an upgrade in July, with improvements to connectivity and stability. Stay close, there is a lot coming.
