TFGrid 4.0 Service Levels
Introduction
TFGrid 4.0 will be released this year in 2025. This new grid will have many features aimed at improving service levels like performance, bandwidth, uptime, and more.
The following presents some of the specs we envision for ThreeFold V4. As always, we are looking for feedback from the community.

Farming Pools
Each farming pool will define a service level agreement. This will all be monitored and farmers will be able to set prices for their nodes. Those prices will be in line with the reliability offered.
The nodes will have clearly displayed historical stats. This will be open and transparent. Users will thus be able to choose the best nodes for their use cases.
KYC and Farming Pools
Currently for ThreeFold V3, we implemented a user KYC, where users need to go through a KYC process to deploy on the grid. For ThreeFold V4, it could be that the KYC parameter is decided by the farming pools. This would mean that some farming pools could decide to have KYC for users while other farming pools could decide not to have KYC for users. This might allow for a greater flexibility in terms of grid deployments and farming pool configurations.
Service Levels Agreements
Farming pools can opt in to make a digital binding agreement with their customers. In case nodes do not achieve uptime, there will be a penalty. This penalty is stored in a locked account by means of a smart contract, and when uptime is not achieved the farmers of the affected farming pool get the penalty. The contract is transparent and people know exactly what to expect. Of course, these farming pools can choose to have a higher price.
These service level agreements will not be solely about uptime, but they will also include parameters such as performance and support. Farming pools and farmers will define those agreements.
3Bot = Our AI Wizard
The TFGrid 4.0 will feature the 3Bot AI assistant.
The 3Bot will know how to deploy certain chosen workloads in such a way that there should never be any downtime. Furthermore, it will have the capability to recover automatically.
Grid Expansion
The V4 grid is meant to grow dramatically. Thanks to the features and parameters of TFGrid V4, as explained above, it will be easy for people to select where they want to put their workloads.
TFGrid Solution & Service Providers
There will be a network of trained certified solution and service providers. This network will be based on reputation and those providers will help the customers to deploy workloads in the best possible way.
Conclusion
The upcoming TFGrid V4 should offer new features that will enhance grid utilization. Farmers and farming pools will provide a strong layer for the grid and users will be able to deploy workloads with ease.
