I just realised that I got banned from the Telegram Farmer group chat. Is this really happening?!? Shame on you @kristof

Could you please elaborate what gives you the impression that you are currently banned from the ThreeFold Farmer’s chat? Having cross verified the group data, we can confirm your account still appears under the current members list.

Let us know if you’re facing issues sending messages in the group and we will look into it.

You aren’t banned from the chat. What happened is that your messages set off automatic spam filters that we have in place.

Having reviewed the messages, I see that they contained vulgar language and personal attacks. This would not be the first time that you have violated the guidelines of our chats.

Please clean up your language and treat everyone with respect. If you don’t, there is a possibility that you will actually get banned from our chats and this forum as well.

Now we reached a point of no return!! Absolutely unacceptable. I will not stop to speak freely how I feel about TF and its staff members. If this is the way how you want to deal with this… so be it. Always remember… you want it this way. Last try: if you don’t gain me back full rights in Telegram Farmer Chat within the next 24h I will consider this a personal vendetta.

The group admins have not modified your account rights, it looks like it was Telegram’s Anti-spam feature which automatically restricted your permissions due to the language that was used over multiple messages. We’re looking into it and we’ll come back to you later on.

Hi @Dany,

After further investigation, I was incorrect and you were indeed restricted by the antispam feature. We are going to try some things to see if we can restore your account (including removing and adding you again to the group). You can also try visiting Telegram’s @SpamBot for further info and possible steps to address this.

“coincidentally” I got just unbanned from telegram farmer group. But the original bann was not triggered by “anti spam” features like you said @scott. It was triggered by other members.
Unfortunately I can’t figure who declared my posts as spam. But it’s a shame anyways!!!

Hi @Dany, thanks for raising this. To clarify, no admin banned you from the Farmer group — it was triggered by Telegram’s automated spam filters , not by our team. We did try restoring your access, but unfortunately Telegram doesn’t show who flagged posts or why.

Well… looks like you are not informed correctly.

I got a very clear statement from the telegram spam info bot that says “some users have declared my posts as disturbing which has been been confirmed by group admins.”

So please stop pretending like this has happened out of your influence!

BTW: if the TF manuell would have gained the same attention than the code-of-conduct declarations for Forum and/or Telegram channels you could have avoided us very much of wasted time!!

I think it was clear that you wrote content using a word that would be banned in most generic chat online. As you say, it was flagged by community members.

Imo, we don’t need to make it a big deal. You’re back in the chat as you say, so now let’s talk ThreeFold and please continue to provide constructive criticism in the chats and the forum.

I always thought that some of the best feedback by ThreeFold was often provided by people having a sharp take on the project. It’s all about communication and aiming to make ThreeFold a better project.
