Geographical Bridging

Hi all,
Great to be here - I hope this is something like in the right place but please close and point me in the right direction if not.

On the understanding that this technology is intended to make the centralized internet infrastructure obsolete.
How is it intended to get around government control of airwaves and/or land corridors?
I.e. - how do we connect the nodes together without the existing, centrally controlled, network infrastructure?

Good question.
Infrastructure will always be needed for connectivity, but ThreeFold works with an overlay network which does not allow anyone to snoop around and see what’s happening there.

So no, going away from “classic” infrastructure won’t be happening (for now), but the way we set it up does not allow for anyone outside to control it.
