We need your vote as approval to mint an additional 14.584.422 TFT.
Background, some time ago, we proposed a GEP to adjust the minting code and remove the token allocation for the carbon offset initiative. Following the approval of this proposal, we have officially removed the allocation from the minting code and, as committed, deleted the private keys to the associated wallet. This means the ~14.5 million tokens in that account will never enter circulation.
As we now approach the final phase of minting in Grid V3 — with nearly 1 billion TFT minted — we’re proposing to mint an additional 14.584.422,3237397 TFT. This amount directly corresponds to the tokens that are now permanently out of circulation.
The TFT will be used for this month’s (May) and next month’s (June) V3 farming rewards (approximately 4 million TFT per month). The purpose of the rest of these TFT’s will be decided by the community through another GEP in the future.
