UPDATE: There has been an update on the grid, and nodes should be able to reboot properly now.
Critical ZOS Boot Issue: Important Information for Farmers
Dear ThreeFold Farmers,
We are writing to inform you about a critical issue we’ve identified that is interfering with the ZOS boot process across the grid.
Current Situation
- We are aware of an issue interfering with the ZOS boot process
- This appears to affect all nodes, and unfortunately, there is no known workaround at this time
- Our technical team is actively investigating and working on a solution
Important Actions for Farmers
Farmerbot Operators
- If you are operating the farmerbot, we strongly recommend disabling it until this issue is resolved
- This will prevent automatic reboots that could place more nodes in a non-functional state
Currently Online Nodes
- Any nodes that are currently online appear to be unaffected
- Important: Please avoid powering off or rebooting nodes if possible, as they may not be able to boot back up
Affected Nodes
- Nodes that are already affected will most likely require a reboot once a fix has been deployed
- If your nodes are stuck in the booting process, you may power them off and await further updates
Next Steps
We understand this situation may impact your farming operations, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Our team is working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available or when a fix is ready to be deployed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
Best regards,
ThreeFold Team
