This is a notice for all users of certified capacity on the ThreeFold network. With the coming release of ThreeFold Grid 3.15, pricing for workloads running on certified nodes will increase by 25% compared to DIY nodes, to match the specification.
Up to now, the implementation of our billing system did not correctly implement the pricing spec and certified capacity was priced the same as DIY capacity. The next release will correct this discrepancy, and billing will be adjusted automatically.
If you are running any workloads, please make sure you’re prepared for this change and the impact it might have on your billing situation. In particular, a larger balance will be required to maintain the same discount level for certified capacity when the pricing increases.
