Add some sub-channels on Telegram

Hey Threefold Community !
It would be nice to add some sub-channels on the Telegram groups, some for sharing social media post from TF and the community, and some other for other languages, may help to grow the official server and regroup worldwide community closer on this communication medium.
What you guys think ?

Maybe so. But there is also a new discord

I think it could be compatible with the new Discord as well, both are widely used in general for crypto/DePIN.

I also wanted to integrate Telegram into Discord, but it would only have been good with a direct connection. Unfortunately, that only works if I was also the admin of Telegram, but I decided against it. At some point the community and the TFT team will have to decide what the communication platform will be. A forum is ok, but we are all driven by the new possibilities.

Would you guys want the grid testers chat and the farmers chat to be integrated/moved to the main TG channel too?

What I had in mind (draft/open to suggestions):

  • News
  • General
  • Grid Testers
  • Farmers
  • Buy TFT
  • Threefold Links: contains the threefold treelink info
  • Support
  • Marketing Material
  • Community Marketing
  • Archive Chats (Contains links to Grid Testers, Farmers, invite farmers+testers to search those chats for v3/old stuff)

That looks good to me to regroup also farmers and grid testers, good idea, other channel are also great imo.

Maybe we could see if the other languages channels would join, i saw one netherland TG community and few days ago someone was asking for chinese. Maybe create also Portuguese, Espagnol, French etc in the same Main channel could also be nice, depending on what needs are coming.

I thought the original farmers chat channel was created on an older version of telegram so it couldnt be broken down into sub topics? we would lose a lot of historical posts if a new chat had to be created shutting down the old one

Apparently it was not possible anymore at some point but it looks that we can again now. Maybe there could be a way to save somehow old chat and posts.
