the peer2peer way how to get people to stream content is super nice and certainly something we in future should look at.
We need to find alternatives because this one doesn’t seem to have much opensource stuff, but there are others, like what is used in peertube
@linkmark It’s a good question! A collaboration Threefold-Theta could be interesting.
@kristof It indeed seems like peertube could work very well. There is also d.tube (on the avalon blockchain) and perhaps atube.org.
What would be the next logical steps for this project to move forward? Maybe we could generate a list of possible alternatives and compare them.
